Well with my 2001 there is a supplement to the owners manual, that gives pressures for different loads.
Those that believe that one size (pressure) fits all, are likely the ones that complain during the winter that they need 400# in the bed to cut down on tire spin on wet roads. If they would just adjust their rear tire pressure for the load carried, they would likely see far less spinning, without adding any weight!
