*UPDATE* ST tires any better nowadays?
It seems like all the ST tires you can get here on the East coast are cheap no-name brands, Maxxis not available out here last time I checked. I upgraded to LT tires (225/75-16) after my last blowout...

@2oldman, me too. This is my second set of LT's so I haven't run ST's since 2012. First set I bought used and on the rims, when they aged out in 2014, I bought the set I have now.
@MFL, absolutely getting a different brand! I was "budget challenged" when I bought this last set and got the absolute cheapest LTs I could find. The set of 4, mounted, balance and including tax was $500 out the door at Discount Tire! I feel like I got my money's worth.
@twodownzero, that's what I was thinking, I'll check out the Goodyears.
