UPDATE: taking the plunge. F-150 spark plug change

I don't think you will hurt the threads to tighten blow out, liquid wrench, soak and then try again.

On my 97 F150, 2000 Town Car, 99 F350 V10 I did the blow out and WD-40 soak. They came out pretty easy.

But I know the 04's and up are a little different.
