Times have changed. It sure was a lot easier to take the plugs out of our '48 Fargo (Canadian market Dodge) flathead inline six. This engine resided in our Fargo farm truck.
Fast, quick and after removal of the old plugs, I could pop a set of new gapped plugs in this engine in no time flat. That was back in the '60's and '70's.
Yeah...I know...technology is much better nowadays, then the old days. Unfortunately ease of service seems to be a thing of the past.
Too bad technology can't be matched with ease of service. In modern engines these things seem to be mutually exclusive.
I have great respect for modern day mechanics, with the additional work they have to do, just to get at problems.
