UPDATE: taking the plunge. F-150 spark plug change

Original link here for any who are interested. I started today at 11 am (Sat.). It is now 3 pm and I don't have one plug out yet. After removing a few things for easier access and gathering tools ...

Once you finish make sure that you Use the newer style 1 Piece plug that wont break into pieces. Many pro shops dont like do do these plug changes. I guess they are scared to tell people that its extra money to take out broken plugs. I have had engines with as may as 5 broken. The Lisle tool a previous poster mentioned is what I use to remove the broken ones. Once again I Strongly would recommend the 1 piece plugs that are available.
