Updated drop down table/desk...Modification

A few weeks ago I fabricated a desk at the back of my toy hauler so I can work from my "Portable Office". The whole write up on this modification is here:

This worked out great, so I decided to take the table apart that was supplied with the trailer and use this as the tabletop. Now it matches the rest of the trailers counter top.

  • I admire the creativity you've shown. These are great solutions to problems that manufacturers should have corrected before they sold you your camper. Am I correct in assuming that your sudden burst of inspiration has anything to do with the fact your wife will be joining you on an upcoming trip? I hope she appreciates the effort and is willing to begin traveling with you more frequently. Camping is much better when you can share it with your best friend.

I was reading all of your Rv mods earlier today from one of your posts. Pretty neat stuff...

I'm pretty much stuck with what I got in my OFF-ROAD POPUP.

I got use of small area and mostly all of the rear tent bed area.

I still manage to run two 24-inch monitors and other electronics for my Emergency Radio Comms I am always playing with...

Having walls and extra space sure looks pretty if you have it... I'd go nut with all that xtra space...

    good job ...
