Guys, thanks for the responses and help! Short story, I pulled up the carpet in the slide only to find a massive water leak, and have just now finished the rot repairs, and wound up replacing the entire slideout floor, along with part of the main floor. Cold weather really slowed me down on that since I don't have a building large enough to get the TT inside. I'll post pics and document that process in a new thread when I get some time.
The original slideout floor was beveled on the front edge to allow for the carpet flap. I left the new floor square so I could make a better transition to add vinyl on the slide floor. I readjusted the slide mechanism so the slide no longer abrades the floor when you run it in/out.
Here's the new floor and the new dinette cushions in place. Now to (finally) start building the dinette!
