That was a 36" round table blank that I found at Lowe's...cut and added a continuous hinge with those slide things underneath that hold the leaf open when needed. Having the table drop (like the old one did) lets you walk by and get to the kitchen and bath with the slide closed. Decided to go with a round table and only one leg because it gives you more leg room. We looked at tables with two legs and the legs wound up too close to the seat and made you squeeze your foot through.
I did make a folding rectangular table that stores under the seat so I can drop this down to make a bed as well.
