I think going the "No WDH' route is unwise. While the Tundra is more stout than a Tacoma, it's still a 1/2 to pickup. Please remember, this is not about proving how macho your pickup is or how little or how much it squats your pickup. WDH's are about distributing a portion of the weight from the rear of the pickup to the front axles of the pickup. When you encounter a large swoop in the road and speed, like a "bridge approach", that little 500 pound tongue weight grows exponentially on the downward travel.........Think about what that does to your front axle..........it lightens it affecting your steering. Add anything else into the mix, like wind or a passing 18 wheeler and bad things can happen. This is just not worth it to prove a pickup and do without. I wouldn't pull a 20 ft. trailer w/o a WDH using my Denali 2500.
