Upgraded my tow vehicle, do I still need a WDH?

I kinda did the same as you. Went from a Frontier to a Silverado. Our camper is 5000 lb with 600 on the tongue. I used an Andersen hitch on the Frontier and now use it on the Silverado. It did bring the front of the truck back down to specs.
For the half hour or so to set up the WD and the extra few minutes to hook up, having a WD just makes good sense to me. And the Andersen hitch is great.
