Brian, first of all, the trip you have planned will be a great one. I have hit them all and they are certainly worth it.
As far as the hitch goes, I knew you had a WD setup already. I just didn't know which one. Again, I can only speak about the Equalizer. It is not easy to switch things around with an Equalizer. Heavier loads require heavier bars which, with an Equalizer, requires a heavier head. So "get a hitch" that will work for you. Now, you might already have a set up that simply requires heavier bars without other changes. That is great. If you have been happy with your current setup and you can easily adjust for the added weight then that would be a way to go. If that isn't easily done, then there are lots of choices for you. I like my Equalizer but I also realize that they are not for everyone. There are a lot of decent choices out there today.
