Upgraded to new LED fixtures

I took out the old 1141 bulbs and fixtures since the switches were getting touchy.
I picked up some gold star fixtures on Amazon.

They look great and are bright enough to remove a extra fluorescent that was installed.

    Based on your post, I just ordered 6 of the Gold Stars 11568305 LED Replacement Bulb 1156 Base 250 LUM to replace the bulbs in my fixtures.



    I don't know if these will be better than the bulbs with the LEDs mounted around the circumference and use the reflector for additional light, but I am going to give them a try and will report back my findings.

    Buy some Krylon Fusion white and paint those ugly yellow plastic fixtures AND the vent surrounds. It will really spruce up the looks and they will never need to be done again.
