Be sure your quality hitch is set up correctly.
I pull a similar weight trailer, with the Expeditions lil brother, and I'm perfectly content. So (IMHO) if you are having stability issues with the Expedition, something may not be set up correctly, or you should stop towing in Hurricanes :B
