I am inclined to agree (and i certainly don't know enough to disagree) Obviously the manufacturer put a lot in to making the truck perform optimally under a wide range of conditions.
I certainly wouldn't put a chip in it.
But aren't there things that can be improved upon, like air flow in and out of the engine? And how would those mods affect engine life?
What about electric fans? Or more sophisticared clutch fans? I mean, in some cases the manufacturer does compromise on the side of cost and relibilty versus performance and efficiency.
