Upper Peninsula Michigan
Plan on being in U.P. late June/early July, would like to hear what you guys like for sightseeing, charter fishing, campgrounds, P.O.I.,and the all important, places to eat, including local desserts.

Just was reading Isle Royal is down to 2 wolves left on the island and the moose population is out of control! Something like 1500 moose on the island. Should be great moose viewing.
Ironic that the UP, N WI andMN is plagued with a terrible wolf problem. Approaching 1000 wolves in WI alone.
There are multiple packs competing for space just around the area we have a place at up there. Friend of ours raises sheep and sells trophy rams to game farms and he’s lost many sheep and dogs to the wolves. dNR actually electric fenced a 1/4 section of his land to try and keep their wolves out! Lol. It ain’t working and he can’t shoot em now because dNR has trail cams setup watching him! And the state won’t de-list them.
They’re planning to transplant 20 or so wolves back to Isle Royal before the moose eat every tree on the island!
