Ford, GM and Ram, all have jumped through hoops to meet those EPA requirements..didn't cheat, didn't lie...they didn't have to..VW got caught...they should pay...Ford, GM or Chrysler/Ram would have to, why should VW allowed to get away with lying? They sure shouldn't be given a free pass for deception.
Don't know about the gassers...VW issue was with DIESEL. IF Ford wasn't meeting EPA requirements, I'd imagine we see all kinds of recalls, or quite a few story line in the news about this....I haven't..no lying, no deception...Make your country perfect, THEN, you can work on ours..:R
Great time to buy a newer Vdub TDI though if you ever wanted one. With the Dieselgate issue ongoing, all the leaf lickers are dumping their TDIs CHEAP!
