I am a very happy member of USAA auto insurance since 1970 and with present 3 family Dodge Ram Trucks. Before that many automobiles insured with them and never any rate increases for me. I do have an excellent 40 plus year driving history throughout the USA with vehicles registered in Texas and Nevada and including towing a TT throughout western USA from TX to PNW. I never had need of their provided with insurance road side service as I am also happy user of AAA.
Maybe TC have a higher recent claims rate than towed trailers. Just a guess.
Mechanics Bank of Cal and NV did beat them on financing rates for a new truck tho. Until now all my auto and truck loans were with USAA.
They are very successful and highly regarded company that I also do banking and finance with. Retired Army CWO pilot, civilian pilot, accountant and pilot to two Texas Governors with also extensive overseas civilian pilot service.
