Consider it to be “any” truck and whatever age or miles is too many for you, apply to the diesel. Since the engine is theoretically the longest lasting component, it’s not really part of the “miles” equation, imo, unless you start talking older trucks and specific issues and then it’s how much wrenching you can do or what it will cost you at a shop.
