Hey Txgearhead, If you get serious about new you might call Boardman Motors in Pueblo West Colorado. They sell Wolfcreek and AF. One of the camper dealers that can sell for less. The owner and
his family will treat you great. They are about 1000 miles from you, but you could camp near them and try it all out before you leave the area. Make a great trip.
I am from Houston myself and I know a TC is a rare sight down there. Truck camper Magazine picked up a Wolfcreek to review a year or so ago from Boardman Motors. It's a good read.
