The wife and I are searching for our first TT. We have been to a couple local dealers to look at floorplans and found a couple new units that really fit our requirements. Sadly, a new unit will cost $10-$15k more than we'd like to spend. I'm really hoping to find a used TT with a similar floorplan that would fit our budget. The floorplans we really like are bunkhouses with a kitchen island and a front bath. I don't care if the bunkhouse portion or master bedroom have a slide, but opposing slides in the kitchen and living room are a "must". Unfortunately, I'm having a hard time finding used models with this type of floorplan.So on with the questions...1. It seems many of these floorplans are new models introduced in 2015 or 2016. While I have spent many hours searching the web for 2013 and 2014 models with this type of floorplan, I'm getting nowhere. If you know of such a model from 2-3 years back, please share the make/model.2. Other than RVTrader, what sites can you recommend for searching used inventories?Your help is very much appreciated!Chris

Welcome to the forums, and good luck with your search.I don't have a recommendation for a specific camper, but since you are in the market, I'd like to give you at least 1 more item you need to consider, new or used, and that is the slides. You said slides are a "must". Slides are nice and do provide extra room when extracted. BUT you also need to consider the functionality of the camper when the slides are IN also. With slides IN is everything inside the camper still functional? Can you reach the bathroom, can you access the refrigerator, can you still use the sink, and the stove. Can you reach, open, and use the drawers and the cabinets?You will find yourself using the camper with slides IN sometimes. I think, probably, everyone one on RV.net has used their camper some time or another with the slides IN, on the road, in bad weather, or at home if you have a restricted parking space that won't allow slides out.This will probably limit your search even more. I looked for 8 years for the right one before settling on a camper with slides. Then it was a new one. But it is 100% accessible and usable with the slides in. Keep searching, you'll find the one you're seeking.

I think a Bullet 310BHS fits your requirements if you can find one.I have always really liked the floor plan, but a 36' trailer is a little longer than I wanted to tow.

Wanna thank all of you for your help. We brought home a 2014 Prime Time 3200BHT today. Looking forward to getting that first trip under our belt.

We really like the kitchen island with opposing slides but access to the bathroom and frig are blocked when they are in. I don't find that to be an issue because extending the slides is simple and can be performed from the cab of my truck by remote. I can get the kitchen slide extended so my wife can get to the bathroom quicker than she can get out of the truck and unlock the camper door.

If I was going to be doing the kind of camping where I was driving a lot and pulling into parking lots etc for the night I would probably get a camper without slides.

You have been given Very,Very good info. Especially checking the livability of slides in.

Did not see where you indicated your Tow vehicle, but hope you have a great truck(not a half ton)! Enjoy your decision.

Here's one that should be close to your budget - new. I can't think of any half ton I'd recommend to pull it, but it does meet stated requirements. There are a few competitor models also at the high end of your budget, again new. Expect about $2k for TTL and WDH.
