- Sandia_ManExplorer IIWe still use our 18 volt power drill and it does a great job as long as I clean and dry lube jacks a couple times a year. Been thinking of upgrading to a lithium ion power drill and have seen where the set includes and impact driver which I believe would prove to be better suited for this task.
- 2012ColemanExplorer IIAssuming you are refering to the stabilizers - You don't need an impact wrench. I use my battery powered drill to do this. You might have to adjust the tourque, or give it a twist manually to get going, but the impact is overkill.
Why did you give up on the electric drill? Mine is a Craftsman. - Bears_DenExplorerI have not used this technique yet but am seriously thinking about it. Been to many a CG and people around me have used impacts or drills and they seem to work very well.
