Using springbars with chains on BAL/NORCO frame

Is anyone using springbars with chains on the BAL/NORCO frame rather than the E2 hitch recommended by Lance. I am tired of constantly having to readjust the link plates that are provided with the E2 h...

Just put a 1/2" tack weld on the L bracket. Won't hurt the frame at all. I ran my EQ 4pt with tack welds for several years and had no issues. Also if you have trouble with the L bracket plates bending when tightening then cut some pieces of 1/2" conduit 2" long to use a spacers between the brackets above and below the tongue.
