It’s a piece of cake really. The first time I was unsure of what was involved so I went in the truck stop and told him what I wanted to do, weigh my TV and TT and then weigh my TV alone. Then I drove on the scale and used the intercom to call him. You want each TV axle and the TT axle on separate scales. Its best if you can reach the intercom from the cab or have him delay the weight a moment if you have to get out. Otherwise the weight won’t include you in the cab. Then I drove off and unhitched and did the same with the TV. It cost me $7.00 for the first weigh and $1.00 for the reweigh and as said a piece of cake. I wouldn't unhitch on the scale, though.
