Using the oven while moving...

Does anyone use their oven while towing?

I'm not sure there is anything wrong with doing that, just wondering if I am missing something.

The thermocouple will shut down the gas on the odd event the flame goes out, and there is no additional fire risk that I can think of.
  • Depends on what you are cooking. Anything with liquid would probably slop over while in transit and depending on what it is could cause a fire hazard as it drips on the flames. I would think unless it was something completely dry it would result in a big mess as the roaster or container would be bouncing and sliding around the oven.
  • Make sure you have a latch on the door. Do you plan to run the exhaust fan, too?

Take any steps to prevent items falling on or against the oven or door?

Thought about your pans bouncing in transit, perhaps spilling your concoction?

Most meals I know can be cooked <1hr. Are you looking to save time, or just curious?
