My father is flying in and spending a few nights at my home. I have firmly requested he sleeps in my TT. I figure he will use the bathroom in my house though. I have plenty of unused bedrooms and bathrooms in the house, but don’t have another bed setup (only sofas). The RV will be plugged in to electricity, the water tank will have some water. The TT has ducted A/C.
I figure this is reasonable… can anyone else that has done this comment? (obviously) being an camper myself, I would prefer this- he is not an camper though.
I'd have no problem offering the option to guests, but in this case I'm not sure I understand a few things. Why are you "firmly requesting" that he sleep out in the camper? Is borrowing/renting/buying an air mattress/futon,etc out of the question? I can't read anything into this but I can't help but wobnder if you are trying to accomodate him or yourself.
My in laws are in their late 70s. It would take me more time to explain how everything functions and where stuff is than to just put them in a spare room. Our daughter and son in law have stayed in our camper for an overnighter before, but the first time my MIL tried to walk up the rv steps, she slipped ndfell off the steps and bruised her hip. Just saying.
