If either one breaks, it's not likely to be in your driveway when it does. If you're hundreds or thousands of miles from home, which would you rather be trying to find parts for?
If you see double digits empty OR loaded, you're doing good... But don't expect it.
:S I don't get it. There is no way you could get mine down into the single digits empty - unless maybe you let it idle all night. i did that once but did not check the effect on the mileage. :B
