Takes about five minutes to change a fuel filter with the proper tool (costs about $3.00)
leave the truck running and pull the fuel pump fuse (relive the pressure on the high pressure fuel line
Insert the gas line tool (can't remember what its called) and pull the filter free. No worries, just wear old clothes and have a container handy to catch the fuel.
the new filter just clicks in, reinstall the fuel pump fuse, turn the ignition to on a few times, prime the pump, start the truck.
took me longer to type this than to change the filter itself.
