Okay, I purchased the correct chuck and I can see how it WILL work to air up both inner and outer tire on the rear. However, I can't get my hand in to remove the valve stem cover. I tried a needle-nose plier, a regular plier and neither would do the job. Is there a special tool for this task or do you have a very small hand available to help out? How do you remove the valve stem cover on the inner dually?
I found on my Ram it's easier to reach behind the outer dually between the two tires to get the cap off than to try and get it off through the hole in the outer rim. - Cummins12V98Explorer IIIMy RAM does not have caps on inner rear tire valve stems. Simply push on air chuck and fill or deflate.

Oops, sorry about that. This is what I came up with when I did a Google search for the product you listed:fj12ryder wrote:
I tried 3 sets of flexible extensions and they all leaked, some sooner than others. Finally I just gave up and found an angled air pressure gauge that works very well. And a filler with the same angled head.
The chuck linked to above wouldn't work for me, I use this one: Straight Head
It wasn't a link. THAT takes a computer EXPERT that I am NOT! That is exactly what I was referring to.
Angle head.
Hey, whatever works is what I say. - PA12DRVRExplorerI used the braided extensions for about 5 years...never had an issue with leaking.
Sold that truck and (brain fart) let the extensions go with it. I used the "1 inch" or something like that straight extensions on the inner tire on the replacement truck. Worked out fine for another 5 years before I sold that rig.
After a gap of about 6 years, my only dually is my F550 plow truck. Since I only have to add air about 1x per year, I use the double-headed chuck. Works for that situation, but I may eventually put extensions on the F550 as well. - smartyExplorer IIThey make extensions you simply screw on to your inner tire. About an inch long. It is all I ever use. Never leaks and very inexpensive.

No more flats and a lot more peace of mind. Much easier to use.
