The faster moving air on the outside creates a vacuum for the interior and sucks in a lot of dust and dirt. I left a window open one time and never did it again. The curtain that was over it acted like a filter and was covered in dirt. It also had a fine layer of dust over everything.
The trailer seems to hold its temp. better by leaving it closed up anyway.
