I've used Photobucket for many years. Their new policy and pricing means hours of work for me to migrate my images to a new website. When I have all of them moved, my account at Photobucket will be closed. I'm not paying $400/yr as it would cost me less to create my own website, pay for hosting, and have the images stored there. I'll have to look over Imgur's terms of service to see if it will work for me.
Offhand, Imgur seems to have less wonky software than Photobucket (and I'm sure less advertizing interuption), making for easier posting of images. I would bet that Photobucket membership is going to tank but they will retain some $400 fee buyers so it may be in their best interest. We will see. In the interim, sorry for my images to be unviewable, that will be rectified to the best of my ability.
I've used IMGUR for a while now and it is far better than photobucket. Not sure if their terms of service would be OK with you (nothing jumped out at me) but technically it is really good.
I can't access Imgur, today, so won't know their rules and regs until I can.
FWIW, I have probably thousands of images strung out across the web. As long as Imgur doesn't have a limit, I'd be OK. I haven't tallied my Photobucket images but hundreds would be close.
Lately, I've had to upload images to the RVnet app because there is a Photobucket code violation with the Forum's image posting rules (a simple character or two that RVnet can't abide). So, leaving Photobucket isn't going to be that big of a deal. What will be difficult is trying to shoehorn the correct image into those vacated by the original Photobucket images. I have my restoration thread at 39 pages, most of which have multiple images. It will take awhile.
