- Thank you so much for that link. You have helped to solve a mystery ! DH is so excited. He grew up living in a double decker trailer. Had no idea what kind it was. I just showed him the pictures of the '56 Stuart on that website. That is the same trailer he grew up in!. Theirs was blue.

Martha - You are right! Tons of wood and steel-pulled by Dad's everyday! 'We don't need no stinking trailer brakes'!
- The irony of all the post on this site about tow ratings for vehicles. Look at some of those setups and see 30 foot trailers being pulled by the family grocery getter. No leveling bars, no sway control or brake systems. Just good old drum brakes and white knuckles.
- I like the 1948 Sequoia best.
The Double Decker will be cool when it's restored.
