It's one of the best engines. We had it in a 2000 Chevy 2500. Bought it new and over a 12 year period of time put 185000 miles on it towing a 25' 5th wheel around 12 states, mostly up and down the west coast. We gave it to our daughter who has a hobby farm and the truck now has well over 200000 miles on it. It is a keeper. We now have a V10 due to being blindsided by a great deal but I have a lot of respect for that 6.0 liter.
