Have 2011 2500hd crew/long bed....commercial grade and use to tow 8500 lb 5 er..
Truck/trailer GCW around 15500....so slightly under max allowable....East coast mountains and I95/I10//towing....but rpms never get over 3k.....speed 56-58 mph
10 mpg tow 18 mpg no tow....as long as shifts to 6th gear...no complaints....3.73 rear so cruises at 1500 rpm and 1900 rpm on hills with tow haul....
