I bought a 2002 2500hd 6.0 this time last year. The truck had 188000 miles on it. I replaced the brake lines, new fuel pump and some other minor repairs. I loade up my lance camper and drove to Alaska and back. Its bee to SD twice since and my JD tractor around when needed. I sold my 2011 Silverado (another great truck) last month. This will be it untill I buy a new one next fall. Not sure about which to get yet 1500 or 2500. Mine now has about 210000 and will run for a long time. These are great motors, a little thirsty 10-14 mpg. I averaged 11.3 going to AK and back. They are detuned for longevity. I have not really ever concidered a deisel pickup truck. Here the price is 330 D 188G seems there is always about a buck differance. Plus the gas will carry more. Its a great choice!
