I am very satisfied with my 03 2500HD, the mileage is not the best but that's life. I had installed headers right out of the box and an air box, no regrets there. My original headers developed a leak so I just replaced them with new JBL's gas mileage seemed to have improved.
I have had to replace both front hubs, 4x4,that was a problem for a few years. The intermediate shaft was clicking in the steering column, that was a warranty deal. I also had a read wheel seal go out.
It turned 100K on top of the Bear Tooth last July. I've had all of the fluids changed except for the cooling and brakes but other then weaeing out a set of pads no problems there.
There was a recall on the dash cluster which was replaced, twice.
My rig was rated at 300hp now the newer engines are rated at 360, I think.
