Yes, it is a Cummins ISB with a Cummins fixed geometry turbo. Just look at the spec sheet. It identical to the ISB. Also, the Cummins ISB never had fuel issues.
I do find it funny that a few months ago in a thread about a 6.7L Cummins in Africa, you were ragging on the Cummins 6.7L saying it was unreliable and that Euro diesels of the same size are better only to find out that some of those Euro diesels are Cummins built 6.7L rebadged by Euro truck manufacturers.
I bet it just kills you that there are so many American engines in Euro trucks seeing how much you hate American products.
What Garbage are you posting SCANIA HAS SIGNIFICANTLY MODIFIED THE WHOLE ENGINE?? including the exhaust system, it has a Cummins produced block to save expense the rest is Scania. So what is Cumminsgoing to medt Euro7, which comes in THIS YEAR
If you produce products that can be cheaper and much more effective than US products tben tbey sill fail to be bought outside NA and remain basically remain lifestyle vehicles
Actually no. If you read the 2017 press release from Scania in the link below, they stated....
"The DC07 is based on a well-known engine that is already used in hundreds of thousands of different vehicles. Therefore it has the advantage of being completely modern, while also being tried-and-tested and well respected. The design could be described as conventional, but that is not how Wingren would view it."
Scania DC07 Press Release
How can a brand new engine they were introducing already be used in hundreds of thousands of vehicles? Because it is a Cummins 6.7L just like what you would find in a Ram, but with a fixed geometry turbo instead of a VGT and no EGR. As it states in the press release, the only thing that Scania did to it is monitoring and controls(ECM), and emissions after treatment system. The rest of the engine is a 6.7L Cummins just like the one one you stated was unreliable in the Africa Ram thread.
Also, the Cummins 6.7L was updated in 2019 and all they need in order to be Euro 7 compliant are external emission devices. The engine itself is good since they updated the fuel pump to a higher pressure one.
