Those are motorhomes and are usually built with a full walk on roof. The same cannot be said of TTs. If it has a ladder then it is usualy a walk on.
If the roof is not a walk on, sometimes it is an "Inspect on" and can handle moderate and careful foot traffic. Some (Like almost all Sunlines) are extremely thin cardboard like wood and cannot be traversed at all.
If you have one that is on the thinner side, you can either put down carpet and plywood to lay across the rafters or (if you are careful) feel where the rafters are and keep your feet planted on them.
If you have a sunline like roof, just stick to the carpet and plywood.
