Some time ago on Hybrid Explorer someone wanted to mount a TV on an outside wall. Huge mistake was that they didn't take the thickness of the wall into account and when all was said and done they had a long screw sticking out....not a good day. Agree that if you can get a diagram from the mfg that's best, but still triple check with stud-finder before you start working. We have never removed either the TV we had in the HTT - built into a custom entertainment center - or the one in our current TT, install by the manufacturer. We travel, it stays right where it is.
