walmart wheels 98 Coleman Cheyenne

A relative is gifting me a 98 Coleman Cheyenne that's been parked for a few years.
It's some distance away and I don't want to burden him with swapping the tires.

Does this camper use the common four lug pattern found on the trailer wheels sold by Walmart or Tractor Supply?

And is it about 2000lb empty?

thanks
  • Thanks for all the input. He gave it to a neighbor so the hunt is on for another popup.

Yes, it's "about" 2000 lb empty. (I owned a 1999 Coleman Cheyenne for 16 years. Great camper!!)

  • Personally I would get out to the unit, give it a detailed inspection, including noting tire size and lug patern, or even taking one wheel with me to match up at store. Chances are good you may need more than just tires if it has been sitting long. Check wheel bearings, hitch ball coupler may be rusted solid, and then make on run to walmart/ tractor supply/ harbor freight for your needs.

Of course, I don't know how far "out there" the trailer is located relative to the stores
