Want info on this Kodiak with a Lance 1181

Instead of using a Lance camper that does not allow the camper to be loaded all the way to the front. Why not look at other brands that might allow the bottom end to be cut off or deleted at the factory? It was not hard at all to modify my camper to sit flat on the bed. I know that a Lance 1040 and a 830 can be converted to sit flat.
