We have a Keystone Outback 316RL. I realize this isn't close to what the OP is asking about, but my response is about being on the edge. We use to tow TT with a 2010 Ford 150 5.4 4x2. Ford said GVW was (I believe- its been awhile) rated for 15,400K and on our second trip we went from Savannah, GA to the boarder of AL and GA (aka FT Benning, GA) and I was white-knuckled all the way there and back. Partly since it was my second trip and partly because the Ford struggled the entire way, up hills and down hills on the brakes.
Needless to say, we now have a 2013 Ford 250 6.7 diesel and I never think about towing. Bottom line, the edge is not where we wanted to be when it came to stopping and being pushed around by the trailer. The dealer said it would work but he had no idea of my comfort level. At least with the 250 I feel like I have some level of control. I never felt that way in the 150.
