After looking at the pictures I have to ask. The setup oof your hitch seems really high for the trailer. If the tongue on trailer was straight wouldn't the trailer be nose up when towing instead of fairly flat? I could see the trailer truck combo having issues if in a gully. Would it cause what I see? I do not know.
But I tend to agree it is not a manufacturing defect. Maybe a FRAME shop would be the best place to get an opinion that counts and to affect a repair. NOT THE DEALER
