As promised I'm posting an update to our TT. Made a trip to dealership this afternoon and now I understand the concept of what is going on with our White Hawk. When the Lippert frame was built, the brackets that the springs attach to were off 1/2 inch. so it was impossible to have perfect alignment. He quoted that in his years of working with TT's he's had to deal this problem quite ofter. He said the process he had to do was cut off brackets with a torch and weld them back on in right position. They now sell an alignment kit which he wants to use. Now the problem, he's dealing with the Lippert service person to ok it, because they are responsible for cost of product and labor. He went to his computer to verify all the emails he had sent asking for permission and ok to install. To his surprise an email came down right in front of our eyes, saying I'm so sorry for the delay to your problem. She stated she needed a picture from the frame and ID number and she would ok it. One problem it will take 4 to 5 days to get part, but in 3 days the shop will close up until Jan. 4th. He tells us it will be ok to take home since our reservation in Fl. starts Jan. 1. He will get the part and install when we return in March. Old-Biscuit you were right on the money, when you said the dealership most of the time isn't the problem its trying to get the parts.
