Warranty work
Several months ago I posted a thread on the White Hawk wide stance axle. We called our dealer with a concern about slight bowing to the axles on our TT. Made a 2 hr. trip and left it to be checked out. Some time passed and no phone calls. DH called and was told they were waiting on new axles and were going to replace them since so many were having problems with the smaller axles. Several weeks later DH had to make another call and was told the axles had been replaced but were needing to keep it a while longer, something about the alignment. We're at our wits end. They have had our TT almost 3 months. Shop foreman told DH last week that it would be ready to go this week. DH and I tried to talk to Shop foreman as well as the dealer today, no return calls. The little guy that took our call got an ear full. We have 2 month reservations, first of Jan. and according to the little guy our TT is sitting outside with a note on it waiting for a part. What recourse do we have? I now feel your pain, never had this problem before. We have been on good terms with this dealer and have purchased 3 new TT's over the years. Anyone with the White Hawk that have changed out the axles and what if any problems were encounter. I at least expected a return call out of respect, I suppose they have all the customers they need and don't need our money anymore.
