Washington & Oregon Sights One Should See
We are going to visit Washington & Oregon this summer & I am looking for recommendations to see while we are there. Sometimes when we visit an area & come home, someone may say did you see such & such...

Oregon coast has many great campgrounds. The Oregon State parks are the best. Need reservations unless you arrive mid week and before 10am. Some of the sites even have cable TV. Newport Oregon is my favorite. Beverly Beach SP is my favorite . At Newport got to go to the Bayfront area, Oregon Coast Aquarium.
Here is the list of my favorite.
Oregon Coast: Depot Bay - Sprouting Horn, Tlillamook - cheese factory, Astoria - Peter Airdale wreck and Goonies movie house and Fort Stevens SP AND Costco just South.
Oregon Central state: Government Camp - Trillium Lake Forrest service CG with view of Mt Hood. BEND - Cascade Lakes Highway many lakes and campgrounds. Crater lake NP- check opening dates. Medford - Harry and David fruits.
Washington: Cross the Astoria bridge to Long Beach - Cape Dissappoint SP and at Long Beach Marsh museum and downtown Long Beach. Ocean Park - Jack's Country Store. Olympic peninsula - Olympic National Park - Hoh rain Forrest, Kalaloch CG, Hurricane Ridge, Staircase, Cresent Lake, Forks. Mt Rainier NP - Sunrise/Paradise.
