I opted for the 27g Thetford tote, which is as big as I really want to drag. At over 200 lbs full it is still on the heavy side, but it can also be attached to a TV hitch and towed to the dump station.
A sewer extension is a good idea - we have needed 15-20' several times. The rest of my use and maintenance gear is derived from past need, or "what if" thinking like changing a flat, replacing fuses, repairing plumbing, wanting AC in a browned out campground, etc...
