Most of those fittings have a rubber washer inside to seal to a pipe surface. I would disconnect it, tape and dope the connection, retighten.

Check washer for tears/gouges/nits.
Replace if any signs of damage.
Replacement packs of washers available at Home Depot/Lowes/Aces etc.
Could be flat, tapered, coned based on type of fittings the nut screws onto
