Water Hose

I just bought the Zero Gravity hose someone mentioned earlier. Will use it this weekend for the first time. It coils way easier and in a much smaller space then the white hose.

Just yesterday we saw a small Casitas TT from Flordia and it was storing the water hoses over the front trailer jack, very creative.

Thinking about getting one of these.

Thanks bumpy, Do you have a picture by any chance?

I have had lots of issues trying to post a picture or I would take one. any decent lawn/garden supply store would sell them. it is basically just a bowl (sort of rounded over at the top) with a hole near the bottom. I also have one sort of similar that cranks in the hose.
they are handy in that only the 10 ft (or 5 ft) hose gets hooked up to RV and bucket hose and then just pull out what is required to reach spigot. years back they sold one in one of the mail order catalogs that also had a flower pot insert to sort of hide it.
one could take a standard 5 gallon bucket and cut a 2 inch hole in the side near the bottom and make your own.

I have an outside compartment that was dedicated for the shore cord. I've changed the shore cord so that spot becomes my hose storage. This compartment hinges from the floor to the exterior wall, underneath the trailer. I'd bet you could build out the same with a plastic bin and a couple of hinges.

Handi-Hose , flat hose on a reel in 25-50 ft lengths.

The only time you need to store it is when your traveling, keep it in the shower or under the dinette if you do not have outside storage.


There is room under the rear seat of the truck. I keep 2 extra round hoses 25 ft and 10 ft cheater hose with a 'Camco Water Bandit' to fill my tank,
to use at state parks without a threaded water spigot.
Some people roll it up and bungee it inside the spare tire.

Coil it up and put it in the front compartment on the drivers side. I put all that stuff (except sewer hose) in there: leveling blocks, tools, chocks, hoses, electrical extension cord, TV cable, etc.

I used to screw the ends together until I just have got some dirt or something in the hose and when I took it out it was all moldy. Now I just make sure it's drained and put it away.

We went from a fiver to a smaller trailer (not as small as yours). Best move I made. I love it.
