I have an "urn" that has a hole in the side near the bottom for a short length of hose with female end to poke out, then the rest of the hose gets coiled up in the urn. just pull out what you need and leave the rest coiled up. hook a short piece of hose from RV to coiled up hose.

Thanks bumpy, Do you have a picture by any chance?
I have had lots of issues trying to post a picture or I would take one. any decent lawn/garden supply store would sell them. it is basically just a bowl (sort of rounded over at the top) with a hole near the bottom. I also have one sort of similar that cranks in the hose.
they are handy in that only the 10 ft (or 5 ft) hose gets hooked up to RV and bucket hose and then just pull out what is required to reach spigot. years back they sold one in one of the mail order catalogs that also had a flower pot insert to sort of hide it.
one could take a standard 5 gallon bucket and cut a 2 inch hole in the side near the bottom and make your own.
