Never...BUT, the change interval on the fuel filter is a lot longer, there's no drain on it for water, and no light on the dash to tell you there is water in the fuel. overall, not something you need to worry about. I wasn't sure if this was something that was a PITA for diesel owners, but it doesn't sound like it.
