Never have had a WIF light. I used to let a small amount of fuel out on a monthly basis (yes I am anal retentive) but never found any water so I quit doing it. I only drain now when I change the filter which I do regularly. On a side note, I had to drop the tank a few years ago. For giggles I opened it up and found no dirt or water inside... I was pleasantly surprised. 100k miles.
